The Cipher Book

A selection of images from a book of cryptic messages. Each image may or may not connect to the phrase below it, and the codes range from very simple (just in another language) to absurdly complex (translated into another language, encrypted with a rotational cipher that changes with each letter, and then written in another alphabet).

Unfortunately, the piece of paper on which I kept track of the meanings has been lost, so your guess is as good as mine.
